In their technical characteristics, there are several varieties of powder epoxy paints that differ from each other:
1. Standard. In the first 10 minutes of processing, the polymerization process takes place in the chamber at a temperature of+ 220 ° C.
2. Low temperatures. The polymerization process takes place in the first 20 minutes at a temperature of+ 180 ° C in a chamber.
3. Polyester. They have high wear resistance, a rich color palette, texture (metallic, antique, transparent varnish), gloss, low toxicity. Used to maximize the protection of the friction surface, they often replace the base.
4. Epoxy-polyester. These paints are cheap, have average abrasion resistance, are resistant to sunlight (do not turn yellow), high temperatures, scratches, and other mechanical effects. They are prone to chemical aggressive solvents and rust. This decorative paint is generally used as film coatings for precious metals and perfume bottles.
